Green Dot- A collaborative partnership between the YWCA St. Joseph and Missouri Western State University and funded through the MO Department of Health and Senior Services. Mission Statement : Our mission is recognizing the need for power-based personal violence prevention in our community and pledging to reduce inappropriate harassing, abusive and violent continuums of behavior.

The Sexual Assault Response Resource Team of Buchanan County (SARRT) was formed to establish a coordinated and uniform multi-disciplinary response to the reporting, investigation and prevention of sexual offenses and sexual violence incidents within Buchanan County. The mission of SARRT includes a commitment to creating a community free from sexual offenses and simultaneously providing prevention information, survivor education and incident-specific referral and investigation protocols. SARRT has created and disseminated various publications and educational materials which outline protection and reporting choices available to sexual offense victims and developing the processes associated with each response alternative. Although specific to sexual offenses, the information addressing reporting choices and medical alternatives also provide direction for individuals who have been the victim of a physical assault. You can view the SARRT resource manual below.
