April 27th: YWCA Annual Gardener’s Festival, 9 AM – 2 PM. View this year’s annuals and perennials and download the pre-order form.
May 3: Day of Commitment to Eliminate Racism, 7:45 AM at the YWCA. This partnership between the YWCA and NAACP will honor the 2013 winner of the Racial Justice Award and feature works of art celebrating diversity and unity. Call 232-4481 to RSVP.
May 9: Reception for Women of Excellence nominees at the YWCA, 5 PM.
June 20: Women of Excellence Awards, Civic Arena, 11:30-1:00. $35 per ticket, $350 for a table of 10. Call 232-4481 to RSVP by June 1.
June 24: Missouri Western Alumni Golf Tournament with proceeds benefiting the YWCA Shelter.
