Ashley Beard serves as the Nursing Simulation Lab Director at Missouri Western State University, where she brings extensive clinical experience in orthopedic trauma, medical-surgical nursing, neurology, and travel nursing. A board-certified MEDSURG nurse, Ashley is recognized for her leadership, innovation, and dedication to excellence in nursing education. She has presented nationally on simulation strategies, including the integration of artificial intelligence, assessment tools, and interprofessional collaboration. Under her guidance, MWSU’s simulation program has expanded rapidly, providing students with high-quality, evidence-based learning experiences aligned with best practices from the International Nursing Association for Clinical Simulation and Learning.
