Hear My Voice will kick off Domestic Violence Awareness Month and include the announcement of the winner of the 2025 Mary Jolly Memorial Award, which recognizes individuals who have shown outstanding service to victims and survivors of domestic violence. This award honors the legacy of Mary Jolly, a beloved YWCA employee and domestic violence advocate who dedicated ten years of her life to supporting women and families in crisis. Mary was known for her compassion, her advocacy for women’s rights, her sense of humor, and her ability to lift the spirits of those around her. She passed away in 2010, but her impact continues to inspire. Mary was a friend, a helper, and an advocate whose memory reminds us why it’s important to honor those who stand beside survivors.
