Misty Coyle serves as Program Director of the Youth Volunteer Corps at Youth Alliance, where she empowers youth to plan and lead service-learning projects that emphasize reflection and sustainability. With a passion for community engagement, Misty has dedicated more than 15 years to mentoring young people through Girl Scouts and the past three years at Youth Alliance. Her efforts have transformed the Program Director role from part-time to full-time due to its growing impact. Misty’s leadership has guided community service projects that have inspired replication by other organizations. In 2024 alone, she helped youth contribute over 2,000 volunteer hours. She was named Youth Volunteer Corps Director of the Year in October 2024 and received regional volunteer honors from Special Olympics. A recipient of the prestigious Girl Scouts Thanks Badge II, Misty is known for her tireless advocacy for youth empowerment and her collaborative work with organizations like Open Door Food Kitchen. Her mentorship continues to shape future leaders and foster a culture of service in St. Joseph.
