Debbie White is a force for good in both healthcare and the community, with over 35 years of service. Beginning her career with Heartland Health (now Mosaic Life Care) in 1989, she holds degrees in social work and nursing, earned her Family Nurse Practitioner certification in 2013, and later transitioned to psychiatry, earning her certification while working full time in 2019. Debbie is a fierce advocate for children, mental health awareness, and survivors of abuse. She provides deeply compassionate psychiatric care, touching countless lives with empathy, wisdom, and persistence. Whether she’s seeing patients, cleaning a home to prevent relapse, or helping someone return to school, she gives without expectation. She has encouraged countless caregivers, many of which she helped pursue their degrees. Her commitment extends beyond the clinic. She trains first responders in crisis intervention, volunteers through many initiatives including Junior League, Second Harvest, Cinderella’s Closet, P.E.O., and The Panel, a group dedicated to promoting healing after trauma. Debbie is frequently recognized by patients, peers, and staff for her unwavering empathy and strength.
